  1. Good stuff, Rich. I’ve learned the hard way: (1) no email or web browsing first thing in the morning; (2) set your computer desktop up at the end of the day with the tools/programs you’ll need to start the next day; (3) I don’t read emails that have more than 5 short sentences. If I’m feeling grumpy I just delete it. If I am feeling gracious I send it back with a request: “get to the point in five sentences or less. otherwise, schedule a meeting”
